Welcome to QuantHead! I hope you find some interesting ideas here that I've encountered on my journey of learning and share your wisdom with me. Enjoy!
That's indeed the critical question, or - how long can the rates stay as low as they currently are? Seems like so far this year people have over-reacted, fearing the rise of interest-rates, and long-term treasuries have experienced a nice rally. Since there's no crystal ball (or at least I don't have one), one can only remain true to whatever strategies one follows and keep fingers crossed! QH
Very nice blog, thanks for this. I have a few questions.
What exactly do the monthly allocations refer to? I looked through your blog some but couldn't figure it out. I presume "MC GMR" is "Marc Cohn GMR," and Modified Dual Momentum is Varan's version of Antonnaci's strategy. Is "Simple GMR" Varan's version of GMR? What is GTCR? Maybe you could provide links to descriptions of these strategies?
Long term bonds are starting to scare me. How low can interest rates fall?
